If you've been on the fence, this may swing the pendulum toward the latter: Gmail 4.0 for iOS brings three welcome new features to iPhones and iPads, most of them designed to help you work faster.
Now that Gmail has its hooks in iOS 8, so to speak, you can share items (photos, links, documents, etc.) from within other apps
All you need to do is tap the Share icon (usually represented by the square with the arrow pointing up out of it), then choose Gmail from within that Share menu
